Window film care
What to expect
after installation.
New film is installed with a wet application process. Temporary moisture and visual changes are normal while the film dries and bonds to the glass.
01 · Drying and curing
Give the film time to bond.
- Keep all vehicle windows closed for 3 to 5 days after installation.
- Small water bubbles, haziness, cloudiness, or slight distortion during drying are normal.
- Most films fully cure within 2 to 3 weeks.
- Premium ceramic films may require 3 to 4 weeks for complete curing.
- Windows receiving little or no direct sunlight may need additional drying time.
- Cloudiness and haze will gradually disappear as moisture evaporates and the film bonds to the glass.
02 · Cleaning
Use soft materials and mild products.
Do not clean or wash the inside of your windows for at least 30 days after installation.
After the curing period:
- Use a clean microfiber cloth, soft towel, or synthetic sponge.
- Clean with warm water and mild detergent, or a window cleaner specifically labeled ammonia-free.
- Avoid abrasive pads, rough paper products, and scrubbing materials that may scratch the film.
